Refunds

Every portrait is made to order from your photo, and nothing prints until you approve your preview. That decides what we can refund.

Cancelling an order

• Before we send your preview: cancel for a full refund.
• After we send your preview, before you approve it: cancel for a refund of the full price minus a $10 art fee for the portrait we made.
• After you approve it: the order has gone to print and can't be cancelled.

To cancel, email us the link to your order page. Changes to the portrait are free: you can ask for changes up to 3 times before you approve it.

Change of mind

We can't take back or refund a portrait you approved because you changed your mind, chose a different size, or don't like it as much on the wall. It was made and printed for you alone. Please look at your preview carefully before you approve it.

Damaged, misprinted or wrong

If your portrait arrives damaged, is misprinted, or isn't the print, size, frame or style you ordered, we reprint it at no cost or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

• Email us within 7 days of delivery with the link to your order page.
• Include photos of the damage or mistake, and of the box it came in.
• Keep the print and the box until we reply. You don't need to send anything back unless we ask, and if we do, we pay the postage.

Lost packages

If your portrait hasn't arrived by the last date on your order page, email us. We trace it with the carrier, and if it's lost, we reprint it or refund you in full. We can't cover a package sent to an address that was entered wrong at checkout, so please check it before you pay.

Your photo

If your photo is too small or unclear for a good portrait, we tell you before we start. You can send another or cancel for a full refund.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We issue them within 5 business days of agreeing to one; your bank may take another 5 to 10 business days to show it.
